Here are some young players who we have predicted will be the wonderkids in EA FC 25. EA predicts them to be future stars.

EA has always predicted the rise of some young players in their football-based games. Some rise through the ranks from the academies of top-flight clubs, while others are waiting to be introduced to European football from other parts of the world. With an Overall Rating in the 70s at an early age, these players usually push into the higher 80s or even 90s. In this article, we list some potential wonderkids in EA FC 26 who will pay dividends down the line in Career Mode.
This list contains established young players who are already proving their mettle on the pitch, as well as possible breakout stars.
Potential Wonderkids in EA FC 26
Désiré Doué – Paris Saint-Germain

The double-footed dribbler is filled with flair and tactical intelligence. He was rated 76 in EA FC 25 and is expected to have a higher Overall in EA FC 26 after his wonderful run this season with PSG.
With excellent link-up play abilities and an eye for goal, we still don’t expect him to start above 80 Overall in EA FC 26. However, we expect this 20-year-old to cross the 85 Overall mark.
Warren Zaire-Emery – Paris Saint-Germain

Our list has another French midfielder. Brimming with physical prowess and technical skills, this 19-year-old excels at box-to-box play. He plays as a defensive midfielder but can also cover the central midfield position. His stamina, dribbling, and passing are top-notch.
We predict this Champions League winner will start around 83 Overall and can go all the way to 89.
Pau Cubarsi – Barcelona

You cannot make a list of young and talented players and leave Pau Cubarsi out of it. The 18-year-old defender is versatile, with excellent composure and the ability to make crucial forward passes. He is primarily a center-back but can play as a right-back or deep-lying defender if needed.
We expect him to begin with an 80+ Rating in EA FC 26, which can soar as high as the 90s.
Joao Neves – Paris Saint-Germain

The 20-year-old Portuguese defensive midfielder is bound to be a catch in EA FC 26 Career Mode. He had a 79 Overall in EA FC 25. His amazing performances in the 2025 UEFA Nations League and the Champions League only prove that EA did not make an error.
He is expected to have an Overall Rating of around 82, and we predict he may reach a potential of at least 89.
Rayan Cherki – Manchester City

The former Lyon attacking midfielder joined Manchester City in 2025. At 21 years old, he uses his left foot like a charm, with amazing dribbling and spectacular playmaking. We are yet to see how he adapts to the fast-paced and physical English top-flight football, but we predict EA will rate the young French talent at around 79, with the potential to rise to around 86.
Lamine Yamal – Barcelona

Anyone who follows European football will say Lamine Yamal is a future Ballon d’Or winner. At the age of 17, he was already the best young player of Euro 2024, contributing greatly to Spain’s eventual trophy win. Moreover, he has had a stellar spell at Barcelona, being a cornerstone for the club as it won La Liga, the Spanish Super Cup, and the Copa del Rey. Additionally, he is a UEFA Champions League semifinalist.
We expect him to start around 86 and eventually go as far as 92 or more.
