This is the only way to play the game in early access, and you will also get several other digital items. None of these include any in-game cosmetics, however.

Additionally, the game is also available in a Standard Edition, with just the base game. This costs $39.99 and you can play the game when it fully launches on April 8, 2025. South of Midnight is also available to players with an active Game Pass subscription. Moreover, this applies to subscriptions on both Xbox Series X/S as well as PC. For Game Pass subscribers, South of Midnight will be available ‘Day One’ on April 8, 2025.
