Grounded 2 is an action-adventure game where you can use many different builds to fight all the insects in Brookhollow Park. However, players can easily get confused about what to use and what not to use. In addition to that, the game has introduced the archetype system, which introduces four different classes. To easily complete Act 1, use a build where each aspect complements the others. To help you save time, here’s a good build that you can easily obtain in Grounded 2, including Mutations, Weapons, Gear, and Trinkets.

Overview of Easiest Build in Grounded 2

Out of all four classes available in Grounded 2 right now, the Fighter is the easiest to master due to its simplicity. Wearing an entire set of Fighter class armor generates Threat, which compels nearby hostile creatures to target you. In addition, Fighters are very tanky, so surviving encounters becomes much easier.

Fighter class weapons are typically one-handed, allowing you to equip a shield in your off-hand for blocking attacks. Additionally, one-handed weapons generally have a high stun stat, enabling you to stun enemies with just a few hits. If you are playing in a party, you can easily create opportunities to deal high amounts of damage to any enemy. That said, here is everything you can easily obtain to complete your build.

Armor Set

The best Fighter class armor set in the game is the Snail set. You can find Snails almost everywhere in Brookhollow Park, but they retreat into their shells when hit, which makes killing them a bit annoying. It is a slow process, but you need to keep repeating the attack and waiting for the Snail to pop back out. Snails do not attack players, making it very easy to get this armor set, although it is time-consuming.

Weapon and Trinket

For your main weapon, you can choose either the Roach Club or the Red Ant Club, depending on your playstyle. The Roach Club is a one-handed weapon, allowing you to carry a shield in the offhand for extra protection. In contrast, the Red Ant Club is a two-handed weapon that deals more damage and stuns faster, but you lose the shield’s protection.

The Scarlet Aegis shield is a good choice because it only requires you to explore a dungeon and not gather crafting materials. Being a Heavy Shield, it can withstand quite a few hits without depleting all of your stamina. For your trinket, use the Volatile Capacitor, which makes dealing with O.R.C. enemies much easier.

Mutations

Near the end of Act 1, it is normal to have at least three Mutation slots unlocked, but you can have four if you searched hard enough for Mega Milk Molars. Use these four Mutations for your build, with the last one being optional:

  • Smasher or Blademaster, depending on your weapons.
  • Parry Master to increase the parry window time.
  • Cardio Fan for extra stamina in every scenario
  • Fresh Defence for additional elemental protection from Sizzle, Gas, and Burn.

This concludes our guide to the easiest build for beating the available content in Grounded 2.
