In pursuit of Elden Ring Nighreign’s best gear, you’ll open chests, break crates, defeat bosses, and trump over raids. As you do all of these, you’ll earn loot. While obtaining loot in some scenarios, you may discuss the loot you picked up with your friends, only to discover their loot pool was completely different.

Elden Ring Nightrein’s loot pool can be a little confusing. The game both does and does not have a shared loot pool. The loot drops are shared in some instances and aren’t in others. Let us explain it in detail below.

As stated earlier, the loot drops are both shared and not shared in Nightreign. It depends heavily on the type of loot you’re trying to pick up. While exploring the game, you will come across dozens of chests and crates.

Opening the chests and breaking the grates will then launch items onto the ground. These loot drops are shared. This means all players in the lobby have the chance to pick from a shared loot pool. If one player picks something up, the other won’t have access to it. Make sure to keep your teammates and their builds in consideration when picking up items.

On the other hand, the loot pool is not shared for bosses. When you go about beating bosses, they all drop special items. All players can then run up to the drop and interact with it to pick up loot of their choice.

As you interact with the loot, you will be shown a list of items. The list of items you’re shown and the list of items your friends are shown will not necessarily be the same. The loot you pick up from bosses is not shared and is granted individually. All players have the chance to obtain valuable loot in this instance.
