Everything you need to know about the best Raider build for Everdark Fissure in the Fog in Elden Ring Nightreign, including Relics, and more.

Everdark Fissure in the Fog, i.e., Caligo, Miasma of Night, is among the more challenging bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign. While it still doesn’t match up to the sheer ferocity of Everdark Adel or Fulghor, Everdark Caligo is a significant step up in difficulty compared to its regular counterpart. Much like Everdark Augur, Caligo has a ton of health and mostly relies on AOE attacks.
Furthermore, the boss tends to move across the arena a lot, making it quite a challenge for melee classes. However, with the right set of Relics and, most importantly, passives, you can easily take down Everdark Caligo in no time. And if you’re looking to have an easier time with the boss, there’s no better option than Raider. Here’s a comprehensive guide on the best Raider build for Everdark Fissure in the Fog in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Overview of the Best Raider Build for Everdark Fissure in the Fog in Elden Ring Nightreign

For the Raider build, the primary focus is on increasing the Nightfarer’s poise as well as survivability. Maris, Fathom of Night’s Relic is mandatory for any Raider build, and depending on the Goblet, you can swap it with Dark Fathom of the Night. Furthermore, we have also worked on additional Physical Damage Negation, which should help your Raider stay close to Caligo much longer. In addition to that, you can also work in Fire Attack Up Relics and Fire Damage passives into this build. Similar to any other Everdark Nightlord, Caligo is quite weak against Affinity damage.
While Fire damage is recommended, it’s not necessary. You can use Bleed, Scarlet Rot, and even Poison against Everdark Caligo. However, using Fire will let you apply the Defense Down debuff on the boss.

Tips To Use the Best Raider Build Against Everdark Fissure in the Fog

Here are some tips to properly use the best Raider build against Everdark Fissure in the Fog:
- With this build, your Raider should be able to withstand a lot of punishment, thanks to Augur’s Relic and Damage Negation passives. As such, you want to stay close to Caligo at all times. We also recommend picking up Affinity Damage Negation and Physical Damage Negation passives during the run.
- In the second phase, you want to stay close to Caligo’s tail and eventually make your way to its head. This will allow you to easily break the Ice Armor on the boss, and also deal consistent damage while avoiding most of its attacks.
- We highly recommend using Colossal Weapons for this boss fight as they have very high poise damage. And breaking Caligo’s poise will help a lot in this boss fight. You can also use Great Hammers, but Colossal Weapons are a priority.
- While we do recommend using the Mountaintop Shifting Earth (summon it via Sovereign Sigils), it’s not a mandatory requirement. As long as you have enough damage negation passives and a good Fire weapon, you should be able to get through Everdark Caligo easily.
Additional Notes
If you don’t have a Fire Relic, we recommend using Gladius’ Relic, which lets you imbue your starting armament in Fire and also grants Stamina Regen upon attack.
