Everything you need to know about the best Revenant build and Relics for the Everdark Fissure in the Fog in Elden Ring Nightreign.

Everdark Fissure in the Fog is one of the most challenging bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign, at least for the squishier and more ranged Nightfarers. While the boss is on the easier spectrum of Nightlords when compared to other Everdark Sovereigns, Caligo, Miasma of the Night is still a force to be reckoned with. And what better way to defeat the Frost Drake than by using the shortest Nightfarer in the game, Revenant?
All jokes aside, Revenant is a fairly potent choice against Everdark Caligo. This is simply due to the fact that Nightreign has some really powerful Fire Incantations, which can easily overpower the Nightlord by breaking its armor in an instant.
However, as one of the squishiest characters in the game, Revenant is only useful against Everdark Nightlords if she’s equipped with proper Relics. Here’s a comprehensive guide on the best Revenant build for Everdark Fissure in the Fog in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Overview of the Best Revenant Build for Everdark Fissure in the Fog in Elden Ring Nightreign

For the Revenant build, you want to primarily focus on survivability and Ultimate Art cooldown. While Revenant’s familiars are going to be quite useful in Day 1 and Day 2, they won’t be of much help beyond that. The familiars don’t have enough health to survive Caligo’s basic attacks or AOE. As such, when faced against the Nightlord, your options will primarily be the weapons you pick up and Incantations. To aid in survivability, we have used Augur’s Relic.
For this build, we chose the regular Augur’s Relic. However, you can also use the Dark variant of the same Relic (obtained after defeating Everdark Augur) for the same effects.
Additionally, passives that buff Revenant’s Ultimate Art cooldown as well as grant extra Physical Damage Negation will go a long way in making the battle against Caligo easier.

Tips To Use the Revenant Build Against Everdark Fissure in the Fog

Here are some tips that will help you use the Revenant build efficiently, against Everdark Fissure in the Fog:
- For Revenant, helpful passives that you need to keep a lookout for are – Improved Charged Incantations, Improved Physical and Affinity Damage Negation, Improved Charged Attacks, Improved Ranged Attacks, and FP Regeneration on Attack.
- When faced against Everdark Caligo, you want to head close to the tail of the Dragon, and use Lightning or, preferably, Fire Incantations. Additionally, due to Revenant’s Faith-scaling, weapons skills for armaments like the Blasphemous Blade work quite well for her.
- While Revenant’s familiars aren’t going to make a dent in Caligo’s HP, they are useful in diverting the boss’s attention. As such, make sure to summon them periodically, especially if you’re playing in Duos or Solo.
- Even with Augur’s Relic equipped, Revenant isn’t as tanky as Raider or Wylder. As such, as soon as you see Caligo charging her AOE attacks, we recommend unlocking the camera and running away from the boss. Most of Caligo’s AOEs dissipate at medium distance. Once the AOE subsides, you can go back near the Nightlord’s tail to deal damage to it.
Additional Notes
While not mandatory, we highly recommend using the Mountaintop Shifting Earth for this Everdark Sovereign. Completing the Shifting Earth not only grants you bonus defense against Frostbite, but also has a high chance of dropping a good Legendary weapon.
