It’s no secret that Everdark Sovereign Nightlords are the toughest challenge in the entirety of Elden Ring Nightreign. However, even among the Everdark Nightlords, Tricephalos has to be the toughest boss there is.

While Everdark Tricephalos is structurally very similar to its regular counterpart, the damage it dishes out is significantly higher than that of any other boss in the game. And with the attack up buff applied, Tricephalos can easily one-shot any Nightlords, including a Level 15 Raider. However, at the same time, Tricephelos is extremely weak to Holy affinity damage.

And this is where you can make great use of Revenant. As the quintessential Faith-oriented Nightfarer, Revenant can easily out-DPS other Nightfarers against Tricephalos. However, to do so, you will need a good Relics loadout of the Nightfarer. Here’s a comprehensive guide on the best Revenant build for Everdark Tricephalos in Elden Ring Nightreign.

With Revenant, you can easily dish out a ton of Holy damage on Gladius, Beast of Night, using Incantations. And the best part is that Holy Incantations usually have a fairly decent range to them.

As such, you won’t even have to put yourself in harm’s way while stacking affinity damage on the boss. However, Revenant is also one of the squishiest characters in the game. And considering Gladius’s one-shot capabilities, you can easily get overwhelmed by the boss’s damage while using Revenant.

To help with that, we have used a few damage negation and HP buffs in this build. Additionally, we highly recommend using damage taken increases damage negation as a passive for the Revenant. This will further increase your survivability against Gladius.

Here are some tips that will help you easily defeat Everdark Tricephalos using the best Revenant build:

  • With Revenant, you ideally want to stay at a distance from the boss and use Incantations. While melee is always an option, it won’t be that impactful against Tricephalos, at least with Revenant. Instead, we recommend focusing your passives around Incantations and weapon skills.
  • In terms of Incantations, you want to get Discus of Light, Radagon’s Rings of Light, and similar Holy Incantations.
  • Furthermore, if you’re looking for weapon choices, there’s the Sacred Relic Sword and Marika’s Hammer, both of which essentially melt Gladius’s HP with their Ash of War. Additionally, Maliketh’s Black Blade is also a good option for Gladius.
  • Unlike Frost and Bleed, Holy doesn’t scale with Arcane; instead, it scales with Faith. As such, Revenant gets a major buff whenever you face a boss with Holy weakness.
  • While Revenant cannot withstand too many attacks, she can easily overpower Gladius with Holy damage stacks. Furthermore, you can also use your familiars to divert the aggro of the boss, giving you ample time to stack additional affinity damage.

Additional Notes

Unlike other Nightfarers, Revenant doesn’t benefit much from Rotted Woods Shifting Earth. Instead, we recommend using the Crater or Noklateo, which have a higher chance of dropping Legendary weapons as rewards.
