Elden Ring Nightreign may be a roguelike looking to carve its identity, but it retains the soul of the Soulsborne games with its difficult bosses. As you explore the map, you’ll encounter many challenging overworld bosses. You must defeat these bosses as quickly as possible before moving on to the next.
The Flame Chariots are one of the bosses you’ll find in the world. They are not particularly difficult to beat. What makes them a slog is their massive HP pool. You have to run behind them and backstab them 7–8 times just to kill one. The boss fight includes three of them. The Flame Chariots fight is, therefore, a massive time sink—one you can’t afford with the impending Night’s Tide.
But what if we told you there was a way to beat this boss really fast—say, in under two to three minutes? You might think it would require using your Ults or some overpowered weapon exploit, but that’s not the case. In this guide, we’ll go over how to beat the Flame Chariots quickly in Elden Ring Nightreign.
How To Beat Flame Chariots Fast in Elden Ring Nightreign
To beat the Flame Chariots, you need to attack the glowing hole at the top of their head. In the original Elden Ring, you could reach this weak spot by jumping onto it from a ledge or other high point. In Nightreign, you often won’t have such terrain available. Instead, you need to use Nightreign’s double jump feature.
Approach any of the Flame Chariots from behind. If they spot you, they’ll turn around and launch flames at you. Keep circling them to stay behind. Once they stop moving briefly, quickly jump at them and use their body to jump again. After the second jump, begin spamming the attack button mid-air. Your character will automatically latch onto a stab animation targeting the weak point, killing the Flame Chariot. Split the team up, and you can kill all the Flame Chariots in under a minute.
