Everdark Equilibrious Beast is undoubtedly one of, if not the hardest, Everdark Sovereign Nightlord in Elden Ring Nightreign. Most Everdark bosses up to Libra mostly got a bump in stats or a few new movesets here and there. However, when it comes to Everdark Libra, Creature of Night, FromSoftware has gone all out and made it an actual MMORPG raid boss. While Libra is still weak to Madness, you won’t be able to exploit its weaknesses all that much. The Nightlord not only receives a substantial buff in attributes, but also an entirely new gimmick surrounding its curses. Suffice it to say, defeating Libra isn’t an easy undertaking, especially for solo Nightfarers.

However, with a bit of knowledge and blessings from the RNG gods, you can easily defeat Everdark Libra, even when playing solo. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to easily defeat Everdark Equilibrious Beast in solo mode.

Everdark Equilibrious Beast is easily the most “tankiest” Nightlords in the entire game, even surpassing the likes of Everdark Adel and Heolstor. However, the boss’s HP is just part of the problems you will have to face while going up against it. The biggest hurdle against the new Nightlord is Libra’s new set of abilities. Essentially, in the second phase, Libra casts curses randomly on the battlefield. Most of these curses only affect the Nightfarers, but some also affect Libra and the Condemned. Speaking about Condemned, Libra also summons mirror images of you and your allies’ Nightfarers, called the Condemned.

These NPCs aren’t that difficult to deal with in a vacuum. However, with Libra constantly casting Madness sigils across the arena and also summoning additional Condemned, dealing with all the chaos can get very overwhelming. Additionally, if you don’t defeat the Condemned in time, they will receive defense and attack buffs. As such, periodically during the battle, you will have to shift your priorities to the Condemned. All this makes for an incredibly hectic boss fight.

However, if you play your cards right, the battle against Everdark Libra can be quite a lot of fun, especially in solo.

Here are some tips to help you easily defeat Everdark Equilibrious Beast in solo mode:

  • For a solo run against Everdark Libra, your best options are Nightfarers that can dish out ample DPS, but also have enough health to compensate for staying close to the boss. As such, we highly recommend using Raider, Wylder, or Guardian. Duchess can also work, but with substantial amounts of passive damage negation.
  • Also, getting to Level 15 is highly recommended, which, for a solo run, shouldn’t be too much of a hassle. Going to Level 15 essentially gives you a bit of headroom if Libra steals your Levels using his curse. Also, if you’re using Raider, we highly recommend power-stancing two Colossal Weapons.
  • Affinities aren’t all that important, but having Holy damage can help deal bonus damage to Libra and the Condemned. Furthermore, when a Condemned is in the arena, make it your priority target. In solo mode, Libra becomes more passive after summoning NPC(s). This gives you enough time to kill the Condemned and then switch to Libra, again.
  • Make sure to bring at least two Wending Graces to the boss fight. Some of Libra’s attacks can one-shot even the tankiest Raiders. As such, having additional Graces is always a good idea. While it’s not necessary, using the Rotted Woods’ buff can help a lot in this boss fight.

Additional Notes

In his second phase, Everdark Libra becomes immune to most affinities. However, at the same time, it also gets a reduction in poise, which makes it easier to stagger. Also, if you see Libra casting a demon incites a riot, leave the Condemned and switch focus to Libra.
