Everything you need to know about Depth Relics in Elden Ring Nightreign, and how you can easily farm them for desired passives.

Depth Relics play a vital role in Elden Ring Nightreign’s new Deep of Night mode. Apart from being the primary reward for partaking in Deep of Night, the Depth Relics also serve as the means of empowering the Nightfarers against the increased difficulty of the Depths. In Depths 3-5, having a good loadout of Depth Relics is as essential as the regular Relics loadout. However, unlike the regular Relics, Depth Relics are only obtained via Expeditions.
You cannot buy guaranteed Depth Relics from the Jar Bazaar or even the Collector Signboard. Furthermore, there are no guaranteed Depth Relics in the game. Every Depth Relic you obtain is randomized. While the perks can overlap with one another, no two Depth Relics will ever be identical. As such, getting the right Depth Relic perks can be quite tricky.
However, there’s a really easy way to farm Depth Relics in the game. Here’s everything you need to know about the Depth Relics in Elden Ring Nightreign, and how to farm them easily.

How To Obtain Depth Relics in Elden Ring Nightreign?

Depth Relics are organically obtained upon completing or just partaking in the Deep of Night Expeditions. Similar to regular Relics, Depth Relics have different tiers – Small, Medium, and Large. However, there are some key differences between regular and Depth Relics. Firstly, every Depth Relic has a very high chance of featuring detrimental effects. These are passive debuffs that affect the Nightfarers upon meeting certain conditions. For instance, some Relics might come with Rot buildup when lower than Max HP.
These passives don’t take effect until the conditions are met. However, the detrimental effects can stack, which can be quite lethal. Furthermore, some Relics can even weaken specific attributes of Nightfarers, while boosting others. Furthermore, detrimental effects are available on tiers of Depth Relics.
That said, you can easily counteract the debuffs using regular Relics, or even weapon passives found during the Expeditions. Apart from Deep of Night Expeditions, there’s another way to obtain the Depth Relics – Jar Bazaar. You can buy Deep Scenic Flatstone from the Jar Bazaar, which grants you one random Depth Relic.
However, it should be noted that the Deep Scenic Flatstone is significantly more expensive than the regular Scenic Flatstone. The Deep Scenic Flatstone costs 1800 Murk per roll, opposed to 600 Murk for the regular variant.

How To Farm Depth Relics in Elden Ring Nightreign?

Ideally, you’re meant to go through the Deep of Night Expeditions to farm Depth Relics. However, there’s an easier way to farm these special Relics, i.e., using the Jar Bazaar. If you’ve been playing Nightreign and its Everdark Sovereigns, you’ll already have a good chunk of spare Murk to spend on Scenic Flatstones. However, if you don’t have enough Murk, you can always sell the Relics (and Depth Relics) that you don’t plan on using.
Depth Relics usually sell for a lot more than regular Relics, and can be sold directly at the Jar Bazaar or the end of a Deep of Night Expedition. However, if you want another way to quickly earn a ton of Murk, we highly recommend going through the Night Aspect Expedition. Additionally, you can also sell the Relics obtained via the Expedition to get additional Murk.
