Surge Sprint is a special move that you can think of as an enhanced dash ability. With dash, you can cover small distances at great speeds. With Surge Sprint, you can cover a larger distance at those same breakneck speeds. Here’s how you can use the Surge Sprint feature in the game, depending on the type of control scheme you are using.

  • Keyboards: You can hold down the Shift key to dash and use the Alt key to toggle Surge Sprinting on and off.
  • PlayStation controller: You can hold down the ‘O’ key to dash and use ‘L3’ to toggle Surge Sprinting on and off.
  • Xbox controller: You can hold down the ‘B’ key to dash and use ‘Left Stick’ to toggle Surge Sprinting on and off.

Surge Sprint is a great move to have in your repertoire during combat encounters. If you use it effectively, it can help you escape area-of-effect attacks from enemies. Also, it works great in positioning you perfectly before you can unleash a strike. However, you cannot simply spam the move during a battle.

As with the dash move, Surge Sprint consumes significant amounts of stamina. So, you’ll need to know exactly when to use the move to prevent being defenseless and with no stamina to spare. Keep in mind that you’ll need some stamina to hit the enemy you’re facing.
