Everything you need to know about Elden Ring Nightreign’s latest update (1.01.4), including the official patch notes, UI changes, and more.

Elden Ring Nightreign’s latest title update is now live on all platforms. The update, version 1.01.4, comes with a few changes, but they’re quite significant ones. Firstly, the update adds a new UI marker on the weapons tab, indicating said weapon’s type. Before this update, figuring out a weapon type was mostly left to guesswork, which isn’t ideal for a game as fast-paced as Nightreign. Furthermore, some of the passive perks from the Relics relied on players identifying specific weapon types before picking them up as loot. With update 1.01.4 installed, you will find a weapon’s category mentioned right above its attributes. This should make build crafting and micro-managing much easier and streamlined.
In addition to that, the update also brings a ton of fixes for the game’s multiplayer and server stability. Here’s a look at the official patch notes for Elden Ring Nightreign’s latest update.

Bug Fixes
- The Weapon Type will now be displayed in each Armament Information menu.

- Fixed a bug where the acquisition of the gesture “It’s Raining!” through Multiplayer would not register properly.
Note: You can obtain the gesture by meeting the conditions, even if you have met them before.
- Fixed a bug where playable characters might revive from a near-death state without being defeated during the battle with the third-day boss after leaving a session and returning from the title screen.

- Fixed a bug where quitting the game incorrectly immediately after fulfilling the clearing conditions of the “Shifting Earth: Crater”, the “The Crater” achievement would not be awarded despite clearing the area.
Note: Even if you have already earned the achievement, meeting the “Crater” clear conditions will award you with the clearing credit again.
- Fixed several other instances of bugs.
The version number of this update, shown at the lower right corner of the Title Screen, will be as follows:
- App Ver. 1.01.4
- Regulation Ver 1.01.5
