The best way to get to Alik’r Desert is by taking a ship. Locate the nearest harbor from your location and look for a ship to Wayrest. You can talk to an NPC named Ilfete by the Western Skyrim Docks, who will take you to Wayrest. Once you reach Wayrest, you can take the boat directly to the Alik’r Desert region.
