Enshrouded: How To Get Gentian

This Enshrouded guide will go over how to get Gentian, an important yet ever-elusive crafting resource in the game.

You’ll be hunting for a ton of resources and supplies in your playthrough of Enshrouded, but none are as frustrating to find as Gentian. Gentian is a crucial crafting resource that helps you craft a ton of recipes in the game. If you’re looking to make the most out of your experience in the game, you really can’t afford to skip out on Gentian.

Unfortunately, the game doesn’t really tell you where to find the resource. The map is huge, and finding Gentian is akin to finding a needle in a haystack. If you desperately seek Gentian to craft a health potion, wound ointment, or any other recipe, our guide is here to help you find it.

Where To Find Gentian in Enshrouded

You find Gentian in the Albaneve Summits region of the game. Head over to the Ancient Spire in the Albaneve Summits. If you can’t find it, it is directly northeast of the Ancient Spire in Nomad Highlands. 

Fast travel to the Ancient Spire in Albaneve Summits and look to your east. You’ll see a mountain range by the river. The mountain has a single road cutting through it. Hike up this road till you begin to see large rocks. You’ll find Gentian growing right by these rocks. Walk up to the plant, and press the E key to harvest the resource. 

You can then continue up the road, and you’ll find Gentian growing all over the area. Just be careful of the various enemies that patrol around here. They may catch you off guard while you’re harvesting. Make sure to clear the area before you begin the harvest.

Gentian is one of the most useful items in the game, and you can use it, alongside other ingredients, to craft the following:

Herbal Mountain Tea	1x Gentian, 1x Water.
Pumpkin Soup	1x Gentian, 1x Purple Berries, 3x Pumpkin, 1x Frizzy Goat Milk.
Superior Health Potion	1x Gentian, 1x Chamomile, 1x Shroud Vapor, 1x Honey.
Superior Mana Potion	4x Gentian, 1x Shroud Vapor, 1x Moss.
Wound Ointment	2x Gentian, 1x Antiseptic, 2x Chamomile, 1x Silver Dust.
Yellow Glow Soup	1x Gentian, 3x Chanterelle, 1x Water.
