Finding Gold Coins is one of the new quests in Enshrouded Wake of the Water, where you hunt for a hidden treasure trove beneath a water temple. However, it will not be an easy journey. There will be a puzzle section where you need to dive deep into the watery ruins and activate a contraption to gain access to the treasure room.
That said, here is a guide on how you complete the Finding Gold Coins quest in Enshrouded Wake of the Water update and how to solve the puzzle section.
How To Unlock the Finding Gold Coins Quest in Enshrouded Wake of the Water
To start the Finding Gold Coins quest in Enshrouded Wake of the Water, you need to reach the Veilwater Basin biome and speak to the carpenter NPC. Once the quest is active, you need to prepare for your journey underwater. This means you need items that can help extend your stamina and oxygen for underwater swimming.
If you haven’t yet, you can start by building a mill to craft a Diver’s Endurance Flask to extend your time underwater. But to do that, you will need to do some exploration to get the necessary materials.
How To Complete the Finding Gold Coins Quest in Enshrouded Wake of the Water
Your first destination is the Drak’Dal Temple. Make your way to the submerged staircase and dive down to the west side wall. There will be a hole underwater that you can pass through. This path will lead you to the first and longest puzzle to complete in this quest.
Swim close to the glowing triangle path, and you will spot three signs. These are tied to three buttons that you need to find nearby. Here is a walkthrough on where you can find these buttons:
First Button
For the first button, swim down and head to the hole to your left. You will see another hole to the left after entering the first passage. Head there and swim straight past it until you find another hole to your left. Head there, and you should see the button that needs to be activated. Return to the main area to recover oxygen.
Second Button
Once you are ready to dive again, head back to the hole to your left. Then take another left turn, but don’t head straight. Look for a glowing floor in the dark tunnel and swim closer to it. You will spot another hole in there that you can swim through. Follow the path and you will see the second button. Once you activate it, swim back to the main area and recover air.
Third Button
The last button is found in a hole on your right side. Dive down to your right and take the next right hole you find underwater. Swim straight until you see another hole to your right and take that path. Eventually, you will spot the third and final button you need to activate. Once that’s done, swim back to the main area, and the gate below the signs will open.
Head to the Treasure Room
Swim down from the main room, and you will see that a new path is open. Swim inside, then climb upward. Make sure you recover your stamina first. Once you are in the room, grab everything you can. There is a large pile of gold coins in the middle. Use your pickaxe to mine all the coins.
There will also be a treasure chest beneath the mountain of coins. Open it to get a Drak Temple Roof Block. This will also complete the Finding Gold Coins Quest in Enshrouded Wake of the Water.
Exit The Treasure Room
Once you’ve had your fun and looted everything you can, it’s time to leave. However, you will notice that the exit is locked and cannot be opened. There is a hidden button you need to shoot just above the area before you head to where you can find the piles of gold coins. Once you activate the button, the exit door will open, leading you to the exterior of the temple.
Finding Gold Coins Quest Rewards
Completing the quest will reward you with 150 XP. On top of that, you can mine all the gold coins you can find inside the temple. Additionally, you also unlock the Drak Temple Roof Block, which can be useful to customize your base. However, there is a lot of new content you can explore in the new update. One of them is the fishing minigame, where you gather critters to use as bait and try to reel in some rare fish with unique effects when used.
