Libra, the Equilbirous Beast is a challenging foe. Facing him requires a foolproof plan. For that, nothing works better than a faith-based build focused solely on Madness incantations. This guide uncovers the madness-type weapons best suited for your faith build.

Vyke’s War Spear – Ultimate Madness Weapon

Go ahead and defeat Festering Fingerprint Vyke, who invades outside the Church of Inhibition in northern Liurnia of the Lakes. To reach that area, you need to travel from the Grand Lift of Dectus or the Bellum Church Site of Grace, then head southeast, cautiously navigating past the Frenzy, as there are swarms of madness enemies waiting to welcome you. Once you reach the Frenzy Flaming Tower, head towards the church, and Vyke will invade. Deal with him, and then receive the weapon as a reward.

Frenzied Flame Seal

You’ll want this for the highest possible madness damage output. You’ll receive the Frenzied Flame Seal from Hyetta after completing her entire quest, which ends deep beneath Leyndell once you’ve met the Three Fingers and returned to her in the Frenzied Flame Proscription. Start by meeting Hyetta at the Lake-Facing Cliffs in Liurnia and give her three Shabriri Grapes and a Fingerprint Grape.

You’ll need to do this across various locations, including the Purified Ruins, Gate Town Bridge, Bellum Church, and others. After completing Hyetta’s quest and accepting the Frenzied Flame from the Three Fingers deep beneath the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, return to Hyetta in the Frenzied Flame Proscription chamber. She’ll reward you with the Frenzied Flame Seal.

After that, collect these Madness incantations:

Frenzied Burst — Track down and defeat a glowing Teardrop Scarab on the ridge just north of Frenzied Flame Village in Liurnia. Then claim this incantation.
The Flame of Frenzy — Visit Callu Baptismal Church on the Weeping Peninsula. Inside the ruins, search among the remains to find and claim this incantation.
Howl of Shabriri — Climb the ladders in the Frenzy-Flaming Tower, Liurnia. Then, open the chest on the upper floor to obtain this incantation.
