The Fishing Enthusiast is a really simple and one of the easiest quests in Escape From Duckov. Vogo simply asks you to visit two different fishing locations in order to help him out and complete the quest. However, you do come across some complications on the way in the form of hostile NPCs. But other than that, there isn’t much to do in this mission. To learn about the locations and how you can unlock the quest, follow this walkthrough.
How To Complete the Fishing Enthusiast Quest in Escape From Duckov
When you take the Fishing Enthusiasts quest for the first time in Escape From Duckov, you will get the following text by Vogo that describes the mission:
“I’m new around here and still finding my way. Can you help me locate two fishing docks in Ground Zero?”
As you can see, the quest has two objectives and a specific location: Ground Zero. You must follow these to complete the quest and get the rewards. First, you will have to build the kitchen. Then, take the bait from Vogo by pressing the F key. The Fishing Enthusiast quest will now become available to you. Accept it and make your way to the areas with the Lake, which will be near the Road Camp and the Northwest Camp in Ground Zero.
There, you will be facing off against various enemies. Try to headshot them for easy kills, and then move on to find both of the locations for fulfilling the objective. In the first location, all you have to do is go near the edge of the dock. The same route applies to the second location as well. Once you have covered both the fishing spots, simply return back to Vogo and interact to complete the Fishing Enthusiast quest in Escape From Duckov.

Rewards for Completing the Fishing Enthusiast Quest in Escape From Duckov
Vogo’s Fishing Enthusiast is a quite straightforward quest that does not give you any difficult objectives. Yes, the enemies you will have to deal with will provide a challenge, but it is not a mandatory objective of the mission. All you have to do is reach both of the fishing locations to unlock the Upgrade Fishing Rod and Fishing Novice quests and get the following rewards:
- 1200 XP
- 1000 Cash
- 1x Flashlight
