The “Ghost-Busting Squad” in Escape From Duckov is a quest where you have to venture out on a raid and defeat ghosts for loot. They are unique enemies that spawn as part of the Halloween-themed quests and provide powerful spooky items. However, the quest does not explain how to spawn ghosts on the map, as they do not appear naturally like other enemies and bosses.
To help you out, here’s how you can complete the “Ghost-Busting Squad” quest in Escape From Duckov.
How To Complete Ghost-Busting Squad Quest in Escape From Duckov
First, you need to complete the “Advertising” quest, which unlocks all the other Halloween quests, like the “Ghost-Busting Squad.” Afterward, accept the quest from Xavier and visit the Sanatorium just before midnight. As mentioned earlier, the ghosts won’t spawn normally like other enemies. When the clock hits 00:00, you have to ring the bell you placed in the “Advertising” quest to make the ghosts spawn and attack you.
The ghosts do not get easily hurt by regular bullets. You have to use powerful weapons like the MP-155 Ultima, Flaming AK-47, or the Coin Sword to damage the ghosts properly. For the quest, you have to defeat eight ghosts and collect the Plasma item from them, which is a standard loot drop from these enemies.
Note that the ghosts spawn all around the Sanatorium, so you need to run around quickly to defeat them, as they start to despawn near sunrise. Additionally, if you can’t find anyone nearby, keep ringing the bell to spawn them. There is a small chance the bell can glitch, causing it to spawn no ghosts at all. In that case, go back to your hideout and return the next night to fix the issue.

Rewards For Ghost-Busting Squad Quest
After you complete the quest and return to Xavier, he gives you the Psionic Gun blueprint. It is a modified TOZ-66 that can shoot ghosts normally, unlike most other guns, making it much easier to defeat them in upcoming quests.
