In Escape From Duckov, the Space Crystal is a unique loot item that you need to upgrade and craft late-game items. To obtain this item, you have to start your raid when the Space Storm is active, which is the most dangerous time to go out. However, during the Storm period, you constantly take damage unless you have proper protection, and enemies tend to get tougher in all regions.

How To Collect Space Crystals in Escape From Duckov
You can collect Space Crystals in Escape From Duckov by defeating Storm Creatures. These are wisp-like entities that spawn during the first and second stages of the Storm, with each lasting for 12 hours from the starting time. After you defeat one of these enemies, you can then loot their body to always obtain at least one Space Crystal.
The Storm Creatures are difficult enemies, as they have high speed with erratic movement, and also deal increased damage. If you are wearing low-tier Space Protection armor, then Storm Creatures can defeat you within seconds if you do not dodge their attacks. Note that these enemies are hostile to every other entity on the map, excluding other Storm Creatures. Therefore, you can often find other ducks attacking them.
To easily defeat Storm Creatures, it is best to snipe them from far away, then use MP-155 to end them. Moreover, it is preferable to use the MP-155 Ultima, which you craft with a recipe from the Street Vendor in the Warehouse Area. Furthermore, if you are chased by more than two Storm Creatures, it’s best to run away and come back later.

Once you start collecting Space Crystals, here are some upgrades you should focus on:
- Skill Enhancement: Some of the high-tier skill upgrades all require Space Crystals as part of the needed items. This is the most crucial use of Space Crystals in Escape From Duckov.
- Mission Objective: Some of the quests you obtain from NPCs ask you to collect Space Crystals. It is best to keep some saved in your warehouse to avoid waiting for the Storm to roll in for you to collect crystals.
- Crafting: Some unique elemental weapons require Space Crystal as part of the recipe. One such example is the Flaming AK-47, which requires 4 Space Crystals in its recipe.
If you have any excess, you can always sell them for high amounts of Cash at the vending machine.
