Craft Fishing Rod
To unlock fishing, your first step is to craft a fishing rod. However, you will not be able to do so until you upgrade your workbench to the Advanced Processing II level. Once you do this, craft the Fishing Rod using the workbench and the necessary materials.

Once you have the fishing rod, the next requirement for fishing is naturally the bait. To obtain it, either look inside hidden loot containers or dig up hiding places using a shovel.
