The Gold Badge is one of the rarest items you can have in Escape From Duckov. Here’s how you can get it in your playthrough.

Escape From Duckov has many types of weapons that you can use, with melee being the most underrated one. However, you can enhance your melee damage using many kinds of items, including the Gold Badge. Moreover, it is one of the rarest items in the game, and it works perfectly in any Berserker build.
To help you out, here’s how you can obtain and use the Gold Badge in Escape From Duckov.
How To Obtain Gold Badge in Escape From Duckov

The Gold Badge in Escape From Duckov currently does not have a set spawn or loot locations, but players can still find it in their playthroughs. As the item’s in-game name and description suggest, it does not seem to be implemented correctly in the game. However, there is a sure way to obtain it: through the Black Market Contact building in your hideout.
As you can see in the image above, it is one of the shop’s most expensive items, standing at 55,898 currency. Therefore, it is unlikely that you will be able to afford the Gold Badge unless you have saved up for quite some time.

How To Use Gold Badge in Escape From Duckov

The Gold Badge is a Gem category item, meaning it can be used with melee weapons that have gem slots. One such weapon is the Giant Axe, which the Man in White boss drops in the Ground Zero region. You can find the Man in White on either the far eastern or western sides of the map. Note that his spawn location is completely random, and he can already be dead due to other enemies.
When you equip the Gold Badge, it provides the following buffs to your weapon:
- +10% Damage.
- +10% Crit Damage Multiplier.
- +100% Chance to apply Bleed to the target.
Finally, make sure that you do not die when carrying the Gold Badge. There is a high chance that you won’t be able to return to your death crate the first time, meaning you can permanently lose the Gold Badge. It is recommended that you move the Gold Badge to your dog’s inventory so that you can bring it back home even if you die.
