The Hunter’s Path is one of the quests that Jeff gives you during your early hours in Escape From Duckov. To complete the quest, you must kill some Rampaging Scavengers hidden in their campsite deep in the forest. The mission itself is not complex; once you find their location, it is just a matter of dealing damage while handling their speed and attacks.
However, we will not leave you to fight them on your own. In this article, we will walk you through the Hunter’s Path quest in Escape From Duckov and explain how to prepare and find your enemies.
How To Complete the Hunter’s Path Quest in Escape From Duckov
You start the Hunter’s Path quest in Escape From Duckov by finding the Rampaging Scavengers Jeff told you about. The mission is quite straightforward, and the locations of these foes are the same. You can easily find them in their camp if you follow the forest path to the south. To pinpoint their location, go to the open spot left of the Bunker’s Entrance dirt road. Eventually, you will find a broken fence there, allowing you to go deeper south.
The camp in question will have a red symbol of two swords on the map. Similarly, the scavengers will also be marked in red and will be holding butcher knives. Remember that these enemies are quite fast, so stay alert. On top of that, the scavengers are very aggressive; they spawn in groups of two or three and can chase you all the way to the Bunker.
You must kill at least two of them and then obtain the butcher knives from their bodies to complete the Hunter’s Path quest in Escape From Duckov.

How To Kill the Rampaging Scavengers
As mentioned, the Rampaging Scavengers are quite fast. They attack in a flash and deal melee damage with a bleed status effect. To kill them effectively, you must be quick as well. We recommend arming yourself with a precision weapon so you can hit them from a distance. Rifles and pistols are ideal for this purpose.
You will also find some red barrels in their camp. If you have been playing games for a while, you know exactly what those barrels are for. Shoot them from a safe distance to cause explosions. Also, gear up with necessary healing items such as bandages because not all scavengers will die from the explosion, and once they spot you, they will rush at you. Try to aim for headshots to eliminate them quickly and remember to heal whenever possible to counter the bleed effect they inflict on you.
