Acer entered the handheld gaming PC industry with its first launch in 2024. During CES 2025, they decided to further solidify their position in the market with the release of two new models: the Nitro Blaze 8 and Nitro Blaze 11.

Something that may catch you off guard is that the numbers in their names refer to the screen sizes. There are a lot of areas where these new Acer devices will impress you. In this post, we will go over the specifications of the Acer Nitro Blaze 11, the price it will be sold at, and much more.

A Brief Overview of the Acer Nitro Blaze 11

The release of the Acer Nitro Blaze 11 is a surefire way to make gamers with larger hands happy. Every gamer with large hands knows how even the best handheld gaming PCs can often lead to your hand cramping.

Moreover, the Acer Nitro Blaze 11 features detachable controllers along with a built-in kickstand. It is very reminiscent of the Nintendo Switch. This is an impressive feat because, to date, the Lenovo Legion GO has been the only device to replicate this feature.

The Acer Nitro Blaze 11’s primary selling point is its massive screen, which provides a unique immersive gaming experience. This experience is made possible with the help of its expansive 10.95-inch IPS display. The screen is capable of a max resolution of 2560×1600. Not only is it a beautiful experience to play on this display, but it is also a smooth experience, thanks to a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen boasts a brightness rating of 500 nits, along with a 10-point touch panel.

Given the size of Nitro Blaze 11, it would be fair to assume that the device must be heavy and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, you would be wrong to assume so. Despite its size, the Nitro Blaze 11 weighs a mere 2.31 pounds. Its specifications and weight indicate that not only is this model highly capable, but it is also portable and comfortable to use. It is definitely an upgrade over the gaming experience a standard 7 to 8-inch display is capable of delivering.

Internal Specs

Inside the Nitro Blaze 11 is where the real magic happens. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, 16 GB of memory, and up to 2 TB of SSD storage space. It wouldn’t be an overstatement to say that these specifications are comparable to several gaming laptops. The AMD processor features a built-in neural processing unit (NPU) capable of up to 39 AI TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second).

How Much Does the Acer Nitro Blaze 11 Cost, and When Can You Get It?

The larger, more expensive Acer Nitro Blaze 11 is scheduled to start shipping in North America in Q2 of 2025. That means, between March and June of 2025, you can get your hands on a Nitro Blaze 11. It will be available for purchase at a starting price of $1,099. This makes it about $200 costlier than the Nitro Blaze 8.

The difference in price is valid since the Blaze 11 features several more advanced features than the Blaze 8, like detachable controllers, a larger screen, as well as a front-facing camera. However, the Nitro Blaze 8’s display has a refresh rate of 144Hz, making it a cheaper, more portable alternative for high FPS gaming purposes.
