Once you reach the entrance of the gleaming building, a few Sandzards are guarding the entrance. It is recommended to take out these low-level enemies before entering the building, as you can easily get some experience points from them.

Moreover, if you walk to the back side of the gleaming building, you can find Leafe. Leafe is a plant-like creature that you can interact with by pulling it out of the ground. Once you find it, Leafe rewards you with three mini bombs. After you collect the bombs, run back to the entrance and enter the gleaming building.

Once you enter the building, it turns out to be the Jo’ee Shrine. Your objective now is to explore the interior of the shrine. Fortunately, this shrine serves as a tutorial, so you don’t have to worry about any puzzles in this one.

You must now run to the opposite side of the entrance to continue the mission. Soon, you find three wolf-like creatures barking at the object on the pedestal. A cutscene begins during which the wolves notice your presence and turn around to attack you. This begins a battle sequence with these enemies.

The creature that you now have to fight is known as Red Wolf, and each of them is Level 5. They are quite fast and can deal considerable amounts of damage if you haven’t leveled up in the desert. It is recommended to be at least Level 8 before challenging them. Moreover, a Fighter Live can help immensely during the combat. The Red Wolf has only two moves, those being:

  • Bite: The Red Wolf runs towards you and tries to bite you. This deals a low amount of damage.

  • Slam: The Red Wolf lunges at you and does a belly slam attack. This deals a moderate amount of damage. However, the Red Wolf stays lying on the ground for two seconds after using this attack. Therefore, it is your best chance to deal some damage.

Once you defeat all the enemies, a cutscene begins in which you find out that the object is a sentient dresser. Moreover, the object was once a person named Kunugi, who is a carpenter. After you take the Odd Dresser, exit the building, and it starts glowing. Finally, the cutscene ends with Skelegon calling out from afar. This concludes the guide on the gleaming building in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
