Your allies in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time often go through some predicaments from which they need saving. Kikyo is one such ally who gets turned into a Strangeling. She will need your help to return back to normal. The process to help Kikyo is quite straightforward. However, this is made easier if you increase your island ranking beforehand.

Help Kikyo Return to Normal in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
While trying to find the treasure, you will get to know that Kikyo has been turned into a graceful fan. So, you need to turn her back to normal. The process to do so is the same as turning any other Strangeling to normal. You need to return to the Goddess Statue and interact with it.
Here, head to the ‘Revert Strangeling’ menu, and you will notice the ‘Graceful Fan’ Kikyo. Select the item and pay the Celestia’s Gift required to turn her back to normal. Once she’s back to normal, a short conversation will take place, following which your next objective will appear.
(Note: You might want to remove debris from all over the island and also finish various quests on the bulletin board. These will increase your Island Ranking, which will subsequently reduce Celestia’s Gift needed to turn Kikyo back to normal.)
Artist Life
Go to the Tropical Isles and head over to Kikyo’s house. While you are waiting for Kikyo to finish her own art piece, you have to finish up a painting of your own. This will be the tutorial for the Artist life. You can only select the Art Competition Piece to make for now.
Following this, the art competition will begin. The three contestants will have their artwork judged, with Paulette being declared the winner. Additionally, you can now unlock the Artist life in the Guild Office. That will be the end of this mission.
