The Interfere Gear is the end goal product after collecting all the Eternian materials. Once all these materials are collected, you will need to craft multiple gear parts. Only after this will you get the recipe to craft the Interfere Gear.

Gather All Eternian Materials in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
After a good adventure around the map of the past, you will eventually collect all the necessary Eternian materials. A cutscene will trigger where Lady Rem congratulates us for accomplishing the task. She also tells us to come visit her after the gear is ready. After the cutscene ends, the next task updates, prompting us to visit Edward.
To meet Edward, go to your in-game map and choose the ‘Present’ tab. From there, select ‘Base Camp’ and fast travel to the location. Once at the location, a list of some prominent characters, along with Edward, will be seen waiting by the guild. Approach Edward and interact with him. He will give us the next task, which involves assembling them into their respective parts. This includes four parts for which he will provide you with the instructions.
Craft the Four Gear Parts

Once you receive the four ingredients, enter the guild. Go to the room on the right towards the quest mark. Interact with the table and click ‘Craft.’ In total, you will need a certain number of points for each of them.

Once the four gear parts are ready, you can move on to the next part.
Craft the Interfere Gear

Once done, leave the guild and meet Edward at the doorstep. Edward praises your efforts and provides you with the recipe for the Interfere Gear. Head back into the guild and to the workbench in the same room. For making the gear, you will need a total of 280 Alchemy. Click on ‘Request’ and assign your buddy ‘Sophie,’ who is an alchemist. Once everything is ready, craft and obtain the Interfere Gear. Head back outside the guild and meet Edward again.
Complete the Interfere Gear

While he is happy that the gear is ready, he is not necessarily pleased with the look of it. He yet again provides you with another recipe. The recipe is ‘Interfere Gear +.’ Head inside the guild and back to the workbench for one last time. Click on ‘request,’ select the gear, and click on ‘Craft.’ Assign your buddy Kikyo, who is an artist. You will need a total of 350 Artistry points. And voila, your Interfere Gear is ready for action.
