Here we will be discussing how to find and obtain the Eternian Flying Fish in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
The Eternian Flying Fish is the last collectable ingredient as part of the ‘Collect Eternian Materials’ quest. Once you obtain this material, you can go ahead and initiate the process of creating the Interfere Gear. For this quest, you will require the help of an angler.
This quest is available in the Tropica Isles. So let’s go ahead and collect the Eternian Flying Fish in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time.
Tropica Isles in Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time
To reach the correct location, go to your in-game map. From there, within the ‘Past’ tab, you will see Tropica Isles to the west of Eternia Village. Click on the island, and you will see the map in more depth. Once in, scroll to the northwest, and you will see a small island with the quest mark highlighted. Fast-travel to Yohoho Cavern.
Once there, you will be in front of a rocky castle. Ascend the set of steps right in front of you and enter through the mouth of the cave. Once inside, proceed towards the path on the top left side. You will find a bunch of enemies over here. You can choose to either fight or skip. From there, run ahead and take a left and pass through the next path.
Eternian Flying Fish at Yohoho Cavern
From here on out, it is a straightforward run of following the path. Take the next right and go through the path. After that, take another right, followed by a left, and then followed by one final left. Through this run, you will be running through some more enemies. If you wish to level up your character, you can do so here.
In the last area, on the right side, you will finally see the quest mark. Go through the path, and you will enter the next area. Now descend down the slope from the left and run towards the newly spawned quest mark by the shore of the island.
A growler can be seen swimming near the shore within a fishable distance. Isaac will pull out her fishing rod and do the task of fishing. Once Isaac grabs the Eternian Flying Fish, it will start losing health gradually. Once the health is completely drained, you will have obtained the Eternian Flying Fish.
