Fanum’s Lamborghini impound at the Dominican Day Parade stirred controversy, as NYPD officers faced backlash for posing with the vehicle.
Content creator and Streamer Roberto Escanio, popularly known as Fanum, was reportedly detained during the Dominican Day Parade. Clips of a police officer pointing a gun were posted on X, which led to concerns about Fanum’s security. Fanum’s driver, Walton, was arrested on unspecified charges, and the Lamborghini Urus owned by Fanum was impounded.
Fanum later addressed the incident on social media, accusing the officers of “carjacking” him and using excessive force. He posted several Instagram stories about the incident, where he claimed that the NYPD officers released the car after four hours. Roberto also stated that the officers just wanted to drive a Lamborghini.
Pictures of officers posing with Escanio’s Lamborghini Urus surfaced online later. In a recent episode of Impaulsive, Logan Paul, the podcast’s host, brought up the incident. In response, Fanum accused the NYPD officer of stealing his Lamborghini and throwing up gang signs. Escanio further stated that the officer’s Instagram account was mass-reported by his fans and deleted as a result.
Fanum Threatened To Sue NYPD
The streamer’s frustration extended to a live stream where he announced his intent to pursue legal action. Roberto accused the NYPD of carjacking and joked about the infamous “Fanum tax.”
“You want to carjack me? Okay. You’re going to tax me, I am going to tax you. No bullsh*t, sorry not sorry. We can’t keep doing this NYPD, stop glazing, thank you.”

In the Impaulsive podcast episode, Logan Paul stated that the whole AMP crew had done some “wild things.” To this, the streamer responded:
“We have not dome crazy s**t! It’s just that people put us… I guess, they… I don’t know what the f**k it is. Because why did that cop put a gun to my face? That’s why I want to know, too.”
In another video posted on X, Kai Cenat, reacting to his fellow AMP member’s situation, called out the NYPD and referred to them as a gang.
