Popular streamer and FaZe Clan member Lacy opens up about his recent injury, stating he is feeling helpless.
Popular streamer and FaZe Clan member Nick “Lacy” took to X to announce that he has torn an ACL. The streamer opened up about feeling helpless after consulting multiple doctors. He stated that he has consulted three doctors who gave him different diagnoses.
The 22-year-old said that a doctor consulted him about getting a tendon reconstruction surgery. For the uninitiated, Lacy had suffered from an injury earlier in February when he played basketball. The estimated recovery time after the surgery was approximately nine to ten months. While Lacy tried to contact a top surgeon, he had no luck:
“I’ve had 3 different doctors tell me 3 different things are torn. I feel like i’m getting lied too genuinely don’t know what to do or what’s wrong with my knee and have no way to get into contact with a top surgeon. I feel so helpless”

The Anterior Cruciate Ligament, or ACL, is a group of tissues that connects the thigh bone to the shin bone. Lacy stated that if he keeps walking on the injured tendon, he will be suffering long-term consequences. His healing period would be extended up to ten months with over two months on crutches.
Lacy has over 1.2M followers on Twitch and initially gained attention for his Fortnite streams. Fans stated that if the streamer goes forward with the surgery, the Fortnite content will be back.

“Get the Surgery”: Fans React to Lacy’s Injury
After the streamer announced he tore his ACL, several fans suggested that he get the surgery done. Fellow FaZe Clan member YourRAGE also commented on his post, stating that he has to get the surgery done.
While some fans also expressed excitement for the streamer to return to Fortnite streams. The streamer previously went viral for his weight loss where he lost 89 pounds in a period of 8 months. The streamer announced on Feb 27, 2025, that he has tore his ACL:
