FBC Firebreak offers a variety of Crisis Kits to make your objective easier. Here’s an explanation of all of them and their purpose.

Remedy’s latest project, FBC: Firebreak, is a PvE squad shooter that lets players pick their roles through Crisis Kits. These “kits” let the Firebreak team assist each other in eradicating the FBC off The Hiss easily. There are three Crisis Kits to choose from at the time of writing. Unfortunately, Remedy does little to explain them, and you are expected to get used to them as soon as you start your first job.

However, you can swap between the different Crisis Kits from the loadout menu. They can also be upgraded using Devices and Parautility unlocked through Requisitions. Even then, the base function of a kit remains the same.

Fix Kit

If you think you can repair items during jobs while keeping your cool, the Fix Kit should be your jam. Anything marked with a wrench icon can be repaired using a Fix Kit. If you don’t have a Fix Kit on your team, you can still complete some objectives manually. However, it can deliver shock, fire, or other negative afflictions. Apart from fixing things and completing objectives, the Fix Kit can also build Swivel Turrets and bash away enemies that get too close using a wrench.

Jump Kit

Contrary to what the name primarily suggests, the Jump Kit has nothing to do with the athletic act of “jumping.” Instead, this kit emits electricity, which can be used to jump-start or power things during a job. It can improve showers and ammo benches to make them more useful, but most importantly, it can apply a Shock status effect to the enemies. However, to deal damage with this effect, the enemies must first be wet, which brings us to the next kit.

If you have a Jump Kit on the team, make sure to have a Splash Kit on the team too. This is because it is a “water” kit that applies the “wet” effect on enemies. The Jump Kit can then be used to “shock” enemies, dealing increased damage. It can also clean allies off corruption and remove radiation and fire effects. It is pretty versatile compared to other kits and is a must-have on your team. You can also wet the paper notes, eliminating them quickly.
