Before you can repair items in FBC Firebreak, it is important to have the right tools in hand. As you would have noticed when playing the game, there are three Crisis Kits you can pick: Fix Kit, Jump Kit, and Splash Kit.

Each kit specializes in certain tasks. If you wish to repair items, you need to pick up the Fix Kit. Living up to its name, the Fix Kit allows you to fix stuff you find. Everything that can be repaired is marked by a wrench icon. You can approach the items with the Fix Kit and use the kit to repair them.

Now, you don’t necessarily need the Fix Kit. You can interact with repairable items and fix them yourself, regardless of the Crisis Kit you pick. But, as is the case in real life, it is always better to let a professional handle the job. If you attempt to repair without a Fix Kit, you run the risk of getting shocked, burned, or contracting some other horrific affliction. Bring a Fix Kit and do it safely.
