The following article presents a class tier list for Fellowship, which should enable you to determine the best heroes in the game.

Reading our detailed class tier list for Fellowship is the best way to understand which of the nine heroes plays best, and who lags behind the others. The game lets you straight away run dungeons with random gears for progression. So, it’s imperative that you pick the preferred hero for your run. Some of them offer melee DPS, while others are spellcasters who can unleash damage from a distance. Without further ado, let’s just check where each of the classes rank on our tier list.
Class Tier List for Fellowship: Which Class Should You Pick?

At launch, the game has nine heroes that you can pick from. Two of them are Tanks and two are Healers. The remaining five are all heroes you’d want to pick for high DPS. However, regardless of your choice, you can complete all of the content in the game with any of the nine heroes. Also, at the end of the day, more than their rankings in this list, what matters is your mastery of a specific hero. So, even the hero we’ve assigned in the C tier might feel overpowered if you know how to proceed with their build and manage their resources.
With that in mind, let’s proceed to the actual tiers. We have divided the list into four of them, namely, S, A, B, and C tiers.
S Tier Classes

Class | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Sylvie | Healer | Although a healer, Sylvie can cause quite a bit of damage on the battlefield. Her butterflies keep the passive healing going, while her pets can output a decent amount of damage. This best of both world approach is why she ranks the highest. However, her complex role in keeping her team alive means Sylvie isn’t really a beginner friendly class. |
Meiko | Tank | As a Tank, you can expect Meiko’s skills to skew toward bolstering her defensive capabilities. However, if you manage to master her Monk-like combos, she can also deal high damage, which compares to DPS units. |
Mara | DPS | Mara is another extremely powerful hero in the game. If you’re playing her, you’ll first need to build up her resources before you can execute some of her most powerful attacks. Mastering this mechanic will let you rip through most enemies easily. However, like Sylvie, she’s not a beginner friendly class. |
A Tier Classes
Class | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Rime | DPS | Rime is a frost-based caster DPS character that relies on the builder/spender mechanic to function. So, you’ll first need to use her builder abilities to accumulate Winter Orbs. Once you get those, you can focus on her Spender abilities to use the Winter Orbs for high burst damage. As beginners, players should be able to quickly grasp this builder/spender cycle. However, true mastery comes from knowing when to spend her Winter Orbs. |
Helena | Tank | As a Tank, Helena’s damage mitigation exceeds even those of Meiko’s. However, Helena cannot match Meiko’s damage output, which is why the latter is ranked higher in our list. However, if you want a pure tank, Helena is without a doubt your best choice. |
Ardeos | DPS | Like Rime, Ardeos also relies on the builder/spender mechanic. This fire based caster DPS will slowly build up Embers as he uses his base DoT spells and attacks. Once he has enough Embers at hand, he can use the Detonate ability. This triggers an explosion of all active DoT effects, causing several seconds’ worth of damage at once. |
B Tier Classes
Class | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Tariq | DPS | Tariq is one of those melee DPS heroes that can arguably rank in the S tier for players who’ve mastered his mechanics. His Swing Timer determines how much damage he’ll deal with his Heavy Strike attack. Beyond that, he also relies on the builder/spender principle. You’ll have to build Fury with his base attacks. Tariq fuels his most powerful attacks with the accumulated Fury. However, managing resources and perfecting the timing simultaneously can be difficult, especially for beginners. |
Elarion | DPS | Elarion is a ranged DPS that you should seriously consider. He deals damage from a distance, which safeguards him from incoming attacks, especially from bosses and mobs. His excellent mobility also helps you to move around when the need arises. Elarion is perhaps the best DPS if you want to focus damage on single targets. However, he doesn’t excel when it comes to crowd management. |
C Tier Class
Class | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
Vigour | Healer | As a healer, Vigour offers little, and in almost every aspect Sylvie is better. Vigour’s specialization is AoE healing, but group sizes in Fellowship are limited to just four. So, Sylvie’s passive healing for the entire team works better for these scenarios. Besides that, Vigour cannot match the sheer damage output that Sylvie brings to the table. |
