Chapter 7 Health Filament in South of Midnight
By the time you reach Chapter 7 in South of Midnight, you’ll be working on your second set of health filaments. Hopefully, you found the one in Chapter 6! But if not, you can always replay that chapter at any time.
The health filament you find in Chapter 7 will only be the second in this trio. Therefore, you’ll also want to find the third in Chapter 8 to get that permanent health boost.
How to Find Health Filament in South of Midnight Chapter 7
To find the Health Filament in South of Midnight Chapter 7, you’ll need to progress through the world until you reach the first stigma-cursed area where you will fight a new Haint type.
Step 1
First, start Chapter 7 by playing normally and moving forward through the path provided. Shortly, you’ll reach a wall run that will drop you in front of a transparent log. There is a floof down on the left over here, so don’t miss that, either.
Use the Weave ability to solidify the log, then Strand Pull on the grapple point. This will pull Hazel up and over the thorns and drop you right into a combat arena. Here, you will be introduced to a new type of enemy called a Brute Haint.
Step 2
Finally, after defeating the enemies and unraveling the stigma knot, the cursed thorns and branches fade away. This is a wide area that clears out. You’ll want to look for a dark area to the right of some waterfalls. There is a cave back here, with a readable and health filament.
When you reach the entrance to the cave, you’ll see a bit of green glowing beyond the branches. Use the Strand Push ability to blast the wood away. Then, your path to the health filament in Chapter 7 of South of Midnight will be clear.

To get the Health Filament in Chapter 7 of South of Midnight you need to progress until you reach the area where you fight the first Brute Haint enemy. After the stigma clears, look for a cave to the right of the waterfalls. Blast away some branches covering the entrance to get the health filament.
