You will march from rookie to walking firestorm by ticking off two quick quests, grabbing the right ash, and then triggering the dramatic Ashes to Ashes ritual.
Once the transformation sparks, your toolbox explodes with subclass skill trees, from scythe cuts to demon summons, each tuned for clean, brutal damage.
How To Become an Infernal in Fire Force Reignition
To become an Infernal, you must complete two short quests given by an NPC named Cole. You’ll find him inside the Factory area. The process is simple but requires precise steps. Use the table below to keep track.
Infernal Unlock Questline

| 4 | Choose “Ashes to Ashes” | After completing both tasks, talk to Cole again. Select the “Ashes to Ashes” option. |
| 5 | Transform into an Infernal | Your character will collapse and ignite. This is the official transformation. |
Once you’ve completed these steps, you’ll become an Infernal. This unlocks a new set of offensive abilities and access to multiple subclass skill paths.
You can now begin customizing your Infernal with powerful abilities categorized under five types: Scythe, Summoner, Doom Claw, Oni, and Greatsword. Each comes with distinct attacks and movement options, making your combat style far more aggressive and flashy than standard builds.
As you progress, you’ll unlock additional Infernal Subclasses, like Blitz, Wing, Spitter, Beam, and Tail, each offering passives or actives that further personalize your play style.
