Fisch is a Roblox game that throws you into the deep end, quite literally. The game is all about exploring the ocean and finding the rarest of the rare fish. You start with the simple fish at the beginning, but as you progress, you soon discover that the waters have more than what meets the eye. The ocean is filled with fascinating aquatic life, and the Colossal Squid is one of them.
However, as is the case with any of the rare creatures in the game, the Colossal Squid is hard to catch. Its low spawn rate is exacerbated by the prerequisites you need to meet to capture it. There are a lot of conditions to meet, and if you don’t know where to begin, our guide is here to help. In this guide, we shall go over how to catch a Colossal Squid in Fisch.
How To Catch a Colossal Squid
Pick the Right Equipment
Now, before you get to catching the squid, you need to ensure you have the right fishing rod. The Steady Rod is ideal for this task due to its stiff nature. The rod is highly tensile and durable, making it the best one you can get. To make it even better, you can enchant it with ‘Resilient’, improving its stats even further.
Alternatively, you can use the Nocturnal Fishing Rod to the same effect. This rod has a high Luck stat, increasing your odds of catching the squid. However, it is heavy on the wallet and may be too expensive for some. We recommend sticking to the Steady Rod as it is more than capable of doing the job.
As far as bait is concerned, we recommend using the Night Shrimp, Super Flakes, and Weird Algae as they grant more Luck, increasing your odds of catching the creature.
Finding the Colossal Squid
With our equipment ready, it is time to go fishing, but only after the sun sets as the Squid appears at night. The Colossal Squid is found almost everywhere in theory, but its low spawn rate makes it a nightmare to catch. In our experience, we’ve had the squid spawn more often in the Snowcap Island.
Head to the island until the docks are in sight. Sail past the docks towards the right and keep going straight until you see a stream heading left. Take the left and keep following the narrow path until you see a small cave on the left. Hop off your boat and enter the cave. You can now stand on the snow platform and fish for the Colossal Squid.
