The latest update for Fisch on Roblox is here, and it’s a wild one. The new Animal update introduces all-new fishing mechanics, limited-time bestiaries, and an entire zoo’s worth of fresh fish species to catch.
Whether you’re in the First Sea or fighting through the Second Sea, there is more than enough to dive into. In this guide, we will be covering it all for you.
Animal Pools in Animal Update Fisch Roblox
Animal Pools is one of the biggest features in this new Animal update. They’re like mini raids, but for fishing.
- Pools spawn randomly in the First or Second Sea, appearing as orange beams from the sky, so they’re pretty hard to miss.
- An Animal Fish spawns inside each pool, shielded by an HP bubble.
- Catching regular fish around or inside the bubble will wear it down.
- Once the bubble pops, it’s a free-for-all, where only one player can catch the rare Animal Fish (just like any other hunt).
If you want to speed up your grind, stack Tempest Totems and Smokescreen Totems.
Warning: It might summon a Sea Leviathan on the Second Sea.
New Fish Species & Bestiaries

Time to fill out those bestiaries! This update introduces two limited-time bestiaries, one for each sea:
First Sea
The First Sea now features 10 brand-new Animal Fish to catch. There’s plenty to discover, from the adorable Sea Cow and quirky Cluckfin to the sneaky Crabbit, chill Cappy Bass, and more. Each fish is unique and mixed animal-themed, adding more variety to your collection.
Second Sea + Octo Bestiary
Over in the Second Sea, 9 unique Animal Fish are waiting to be reeled in. Keep an eye out for the wild Grill Ray, fierce Piranha Monk, striking Zebra Fish, and more. On top of that, there’s a special Octo Bestiary that only appears when it rains, bringing rare finds like the glowing Orander and the elusive Octo into play.
Catching Mechanics
These aren’t your average fish, so don’t expect to catch them with regular bait. Each animal fish requires a specific type of bait, so preparation is key. You’ll only be able to see them when Animal Pools are active, and since these pools are time-limited, you’ll need to act fast and fish with precision to make the most of each opportunity.
Limited-Time Event
This entire Animal Update is a 14-day event—meaning you’ve got two weeks to catch and collect.
If you’re aiming to complete all bestiaries, make sure to log in every day and check for pool spawns in both seas.
Fixes and Quality of Life Updates
Easier Abyssal Zenith Access
Navigating the annoying patrolling fish has become significantly easier. With better path navigation and fewer invisible obstacles, collecting lanterns from Baby Anglersh is much easier now.
Crafting With Favorite-d Fish
You no longer need to unfavorite a fish just to craft with it. Finally!
