Fisch frequently features limited-time events, such as the recent Animal Hunt event or the FischFright event. During these events, players have the opportunity to catch rare and limited-time fish. One such fish was available during the FischFright event: Nessie. Players who managed to catch Nessie are among the lucky few, as the fish is not available to catch anymore. However, you can still get a Nessie by trading it with other players.
Players can also wait for the Halloween 2025 event to try their luck catching the Nessie. By the looks of the fish, it has similarities to the mythical Loch Ness Monster. Even its Bestiary description calls it a “complete myth.” The Bestiary also mentions that the fish is only obtainable during the FischFright:
“Nessie is thought to be a complete myth. Little did these anglers know, you found the impossible catch… Nessie… Only obtainable during FischFright”
How To Catch Nessie in Fisch Roblox
Although the fish is no longer available to catch, you can still prepare to catch it during this year’s FischFright event. It is one of the rarest fishes available in the game and required perfect conditions to reel it in. For starters, you will require the Truffle Worm bait with a Preferred Luck rate of 300 percent. Nessie was active in the waters during a foggy night. With some rods like the Abyssal Spectre Rod, equipped with some enchantments and bait, you can easily reel Nessie in.
If you meet the prerequisites, you can head over to the Frightful Pool and try your luck. However, it’s worth noting that it’s uncertain whether the FischFright event will return. Even if it does, there’s no guarantee that Nessie will make a comeback. Right now, the only way to acquire the rare fish is by trading.
You can join in the Fisch Discord or just look for players who are willing to trade the Nessie. Players should accept trades only if the conditions are right and the individual is trustworthy. There have been reports of false trades that can get your Roblox account banned as well.
