This gentle giant circles the Ocean, taunting you with a -70% catch speed and a weight that swings between 5,000 and 20,000 KG. Don’t stroll in unprepared; other players won’t wait for you to figure it out.
Whale Shark in Fisch Roblox
The Whale Shark can only be caught during the Whale Shark Event. This event occurs randomly in the ocean, typically near the red buoy that leads to the Desolate Deep. When the Whale Shark spawns, the server receives a notification, and a pink beam shoots into the sky to mark its location. The shark’s name tag also appears in pink, making it easy to spot from a distance.
To maximize your chances, use a Fish Radar. You can purchase it from Moosewood, Terrapin, or Roslit for 8,000C$. The radar highlights the exact square where the Whale Shark is within reach, removing all guesswork. Without it, you risk wasting time casting in the wrong area.
Speed is critical. Unless you’re playing on a private server, other players will be heading toward the beam at the same time. The first to land the catch gets it. Once hooked, the player receives a pink exclamation mark above their head and suffers a -70% catch speed penalty. This slowdown makes it essential to use a strong rod—specifically, one with a high KG limit and solid resilience or control stats.
Next, match the shark’s preferences. Use shrimp as bait; it’s one of the few Mythic-tier sharks that doesn’t prefer fish heads. Only attempt the catch during the day and in clear weather. You’ll also have better odds in the summer and autumn. To manage timing, use the Sundial Totem from Sunstone Island, available for 2,000C$, to switch to daytime if needed.
The Whale Shark weighs anywhere between 5,000 to 20,000 KG. It puts up a long fight, especially with the catch speed penalty in place. If your rod isn’t strong enough, it will break free before the bar fills.
