Struggling with the Ahab Quest in Fisch Roblox? Our step-by-step guide will help you catch Moby and earn that Swift enchantment.

If you’ve been fishing in Fisch Roblox lately, you’ve probably heard about the Captain Ahab quest. We’ve spent way too many hours trying to figure this one out, so you might as well save yours. This quest rewards you with the Swift enchantment, which is, quite honestly, a game-changer for catching some of those dastardly rare fish.
The whole thing revolves around catching Moby during whale migrations. While it sounds simple enough, it took us about a week of on-and-off playing to actually complete it. But don’t worry, we’ve got all the tips you need below.
Where To Find Captain Ahab in Fisch Roblox?
First things first, you need to find Captain Ahab. He’s in Moosewood, just to the left of the Shipwright. He’s the old sailor with the peg leg (you can’t miss him).
When you talk to him, he’ll go on about hunting “the Great White Beast Moby” and wanting revenge. Pretty dramatic for a Roblox NPC. After his little speech, the quest will be added to your log.
How To Track Moby During Whale Migration
This is where it gets tricky. The Whale Migration event only happens when it’s raining, and even then, there’s just a 20% chance. The migration starts behind Sunstone Island and moves through Ancient Isle.
Annoyingly, Moby only has a 5% chance to spawn with the migration. So you might see several migrations before Moby shows up. Sometimes the RNG in this game is brutal.

Best Strategy for Catching Moby
When Moby does finally appear, you’ll want to be prepared. Squid bait seems to work best, especially during the summer.
As for rods, either the Ethereal Prism Rod or No-Life Rod gives you the best odds. We used the Ethereal since that’s what we had, and it worked fine. Just be patient with the reeling mini-game because Moby puts up more of a fight than regular fish.
Claiming Your Swift Enchantment Reward
After you finally catch Moby (be prepared for multiple attempts), just head back to Captain Ahab. He’ll give you the Swift enchantment as a reward. It used to only give a 10% speed boost, but they buffed it to 50% in a recent update.
The 50% faster reeling speed makes a huge difference, especially when you’re going after other rare fish. Definitely worth the hassle of completing the quest.
