Overgrowth Caves is one of the most accessible fishing locations in Fisch, and completing its bestiary is an easy win if you know what to look for. Located low on the Northern Summit, this spot doesn’t require special gear to handle the cold or altitude. That means you can fish here comfortably and for as long as you like.
The bestiary includes just nine fish, but several of them are rare or mythical, so you’ll still need a solid rod and high-luck bait to complete the list. Some fish are tied to specific conditions like weather or time of day, while others will test your patience.
Overgrowth Caves Bestiary in Fisch
To complete the Overgrowth Caves bestiary in Fisch, head to the Northern Summit. Overgrowth Caves is the first sub-location you’ll reach as you climb the mountain. You’ll find a camp with a frozen Blue Energy Crystal. From there, keep moving until you locate a small pond inside a cave. This is your fishing spot. The benefit of this area is that it sits low on the mountain, so you don’t need to worry about temperature or oxygen. You can fish here without interruptions.
The Overgrowth Caves bestiary contains nine unique catches. While the list is shorter than other locations, you still need to prepare properly. Many of the fish don’t respond to specific bait, time, or weather. Instead, they rely heavily on luck-based mechanics. To improve your chances, equip a rod and bait with high luck stats. You’ll need them, especially for the rare and mythical catches.

You’ll also need to think ahead. The Glass Diamond isn’t just a rare catch. You need two of them to unlock the Crystalized Rod, a special tool hidden behind a puzzle involving melting ice. Don’t sell them. Hold on to both until you have what you need for the unlock.
This location doesn’t punish you with difficult terrain or weather, but the real challenge is time. The luck-based catches can take a while, so come prepared and stay patient.
