The Golden Whale is home to one of the game’s most exclusive fishing challenges. Hidden in its belly is the Whale Interior, a short-lived hotspot where six unique fish spawn during a 5-minute voyage.
If you’re aiming for 100% Bestiary completion, this is where it counts. With most fish needing no bait and the rare ones demanding Whale Bait, preparation is everything. This isn’t your usual free-roam fishing trip. You get one shot, one window, and very little room for mistakes.

To complete the Whale Interior Bestiary in Fisch, you first need to access the correct location and prepare the right tools. The Whale Interior is only accessible during Tornado weather in the Second Sea. When this condition is met, go to the Isle of New Beginnings and speak with the Crazy Man NPC. After that, stand near the coast to board the Golden Whale. This whale serves as transport to Treasure Island and also as the only place where you can catch six specific fish needed for the bestiary.
Once you’re inside the whale, the 5-minute fishing timer begins. You won’t get another chance unless the whale reappears in a future weather cycle, so use your time wisely. Equip a reliable fishing rod before boarding. Most fish don’t require bait, but two of them—Bearded Toadfish and Giant Moray—can only be caught using Whale Bait.

You can purchase Whale Bait from the merchant inside the whale, near the Merchant Rod. It costs E$ 400 per bait. Make sure to buy it immediately after boarding, since the clock starts ticking the moment you enter the interior.
To optimize your chances:
- Start by purchasing Whale Bait as soon as you’re inside.
- Use your first few casts to try for the Bearded Toadfish and Giant Moray since they are the hardest to catch.
- Once you secure those, move on to the remaining four fish that don’t require bait.
This approach ensures you complete the bestiary efficiently within the limited time.
