The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 is called ‘鬼 Hunters,’ or Demon Hunters when fully translated into English. It’s a Japanese-themed season, which will most likely include elements of Japanese culture. Void Oni Mask
The Void Oni Mask is not necessarily a weapon but a consumable that you can use to your advantage. Using it grants the ability to teleport to a short distance. It works like a grenade, you throw the item at a target location and get teleported there. The Void Oni Mask has around 8 charges.
Fire Oni Mask
The Fire Oni Mask is a consumable that allows you to throw explosives that target nearby enemies.
This item drops from Demon Warrior mini-bosses. There are a limited number of Demon Warriors that spawn in the game so make sure to grab the opportunity and defeat them when you see one.
Surgefire Submachine Gun
The Surgefire Submachine Gun has a unique effect. When fired continuously, it fires faster and gets more accurate. This weapon uses light bullets and is a hitscan type. It has a Mythic variant called Enhanced Surgefire SMG.
For context, the bullets fired from a hitscan weapon will hit a target instantly. This means the bullets will no longer have travel time. You will see this a lot with the recent weapons added in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.
Oni Shotgun
The Oni Shotgun deals high damage and has a long range. However, its fire rate is quite slow compared to other shotguns. This weapon is also a hitscan and has a Mythic variant called Enhanced Oni Shotgun.
Holo Twister Assault Rifle
The Holo Twister Assault Rifle is a fully automatic weapon with a high fire rate. What makes this weapon unique is that it has no spread when aiming down sites. However, it requires you to not be canting.
For context, canting is a new feature in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 that allows you to aim down sights using a scoped weapon without looking down its scope.
Veiled Precision Submachine Gun
The Veiled Precision Submachine Gun is a suppressed weapon with a high fire rate. It’s also a hitscan weapon.
Sentinel Pump Shotgun
The Sentinel Pump Shotgun is also a hitscan weapon. It features high damage but has a slow pump animation. It also reloads one shell at a time, which might put you in bad situations when you need to reload during a gunfight.
Typhoon Blade
The Typhoon Blade allows you to perform anime-style attacks. You can use this weapon to close the gap on enemies or to make a quick dodge.
Fury Assault Rifle
The Fury Assault Rifle deals low damage but has a high fire rate. It also has a Speed Grip enabling you to move faster when aiming down sights. This is a hitscan weapon too.
Twinfire Auto Shotgun
The Twinfire Auto Shotgun is a fully automatic weapon. It is a hitscan type but is quite ineffective when hitting distant targets.
