Adin Ross has risen to fame in the past few years in the streaming industry and is currently one of the most-watched Kick streamers. Initially, he started streaming on Twitch but was banned in 2023 as his behaviour did not align with the streaming platform’s policy.
However, as Adin realized that his ban made it difficult for him to collaborate with other streamers, he requested that Twitch’s CEO unban him. Moreover, his standing with the streaming platform kick also looks uncertain.
On December 9, 2024, Fousey reacted to Adin Ross’ post and made strong claims that the 23-year-old streamer is only pretending to leave Kick. He also said that Ross is pretending to have a feud with Kick’s CEO to funnel all his audience to Twitch. Fousey said,
” He is pretending to leave Kick, so Twitch is going to unban him. It’s going to be the biggest thing the internet has ever seen and then he is going to take those viewers and bring them back over to Kick. It’s all sh*t, it’s a gimmick.”
Is Adin Ross Leaving Kick?
Adin Ross took to X to express his plans to leave Kick and provide an update on his situation. He said,
“I will be making a full video on why I am leaving Kick indefinitely. I am stepping down officially and I will be going into detail about this, this week. I will tell you everything. With that being said, I am going to fully focus on being reinstated on Twitch. Thank you.”
Initially, when rumours surrounding Adin leaving Kick started to fly in November, Kick CEO Ed Craven clarified that he was a valuable member of the streaming platform. However, some time later he also mentioned that Adin leaving Kick won’t affect the platform much. He also said that his company’s success does not single-handedly hinge on Ross’s presence. He said,
“A lot of people jump on. We’ve seen people leave, a lot of people then come back, and that’s fine. That’s just how content creation works. People kind of try new things and try out stuff. You know, I think the likes of Adin, right, if he was to leave Kick, would Kick die? No! Kick wouldn’t die. Would Kick lose viewership in terms of hours watched? Of course! Would it lose community? Sure. There’d be communities left.”
"If Adin were to leave Kick, would the platform die? No, I think it would open up room for others to grow."

He also said that Adin Ross’s departure will give room to more creators to grow on the streaming platform.
“But, I think it would open up room for other people to grow, right? It’s a platform, it’s a social media platform, and if it’s a social media platform, if it’s reliant on any individual, that’s a very dangerous position to be in, right?”
