Grow a Garden is one of the best farming games in Roblox. The title allows you to farm rare items, earn money, and compete against other players on the leaderboards. There is no shortcut to success in the game, but knowing which Gears to use can help you catch up to veteran players.
If you are a new player, getting powerful Gear like the Master Sprinkler will take time. You can use the tier list below to find out which Gears are worth chasing to optimize your farming experience.

Gears Tier List for Grow a Garden
Refer to the tier list below to get a general idea of how strong each Gear is. The Gears are rated based on their effects. You should always get those with multiple powerful effects and no usage limit to farm efficiently.

S-Tier (Master Sprinkler, Chocolate Sprinkler)
The Mastering Sprinkler is the best Gear in the game. It offers enhanced growth speed, fruit size, and mutation chances. The only downside of the Gear is its asking price of 10,000,000 ₵. If you play the game regularly, you should slowly upgrade your Gear and save up for the Master Sprinkler.
The Chocolate Sprinkler also makes it to the S-Tier. It is an event-exclusive Gear that is currently unavailable. It is the only Gear that doubles harvest value in the game and is one of the best items to use in the mid-game.
A-Tier (Advanced Sprinkler, Godly Sprinkler)
The advanced Sprinkler and Godly Sprinkler are great choices when you make it past the early game stages. Both Gears offer Growth Speed and other bonuses and are not hard to get. You should upgrade to one of the two Sprinklers as a new player to earn Cash faster.
B-Tier (Basic Sprinkler, Watering Can)
The Basic Sprinkler is one of the first Gears you get in the game. It has unlimited uses and increases fruit sizes. The Watering Can is also a great early game Gear, but it is outclassed by the Advanced Sprinkler, which is available at the same price with a stronger effect.
How To Get Gears in Grow a Garden
To get new Gears, you have to go to the Gear Shop. It is located right in front of the Seed Shop and has multiple cans and sprinklers for sale. All Gear Shop items are available for in-game Cash (₵).
The Shop resets every five minutes, so you can just wait for the right Gear if something you want is not available. If you do not have enough Cash, you can spend Robux to buy Cash directly.
