The TURBO disks are red-colored items that unlock options for taming creatures and fortifying base defenses. On the other hand, the gray disks unlock new recipes you can buy at the Ranger Station. Locating these disks can be overwhelming, especially if you don’t know where to look. With that said, here are all the locations of Optical Disks in Grounded 2.

Follow the tunnel until you reach a right-hand path. Use the Omni-Hammer to break through the pebbles blocking the way. The disk should be inside a buried treasure chest near a body.

Mysterious Stranger Base Disk

Hatch your first buggy and ride it until a mysterious figure intercepts your SCA.B 2K signal. Go through the questline of locating the signal’s source. Once you reach the area where you need to defeat an O.R.C. Northern Scorpion Jr., look for a toppled cabinet near a glowing purple mark.

Network Penthouse Disk

It’s in the penthouse office, on the deck where you see BURG.L’s head. This is after you take down the Mysterious Stranger.

Spider Den Disk

Make your way to Pine Hill and locate the tunnel using the North Entrance, which is situated in the northeast section of the area. It’s on the second level, so you might need to travel slightly farther north to reach the proper elevation. Look for the Worm Holes candy container nearby; it’s a helpful landmark, especially during nighttime.

Upon entering the tunnel, go straight through the first two intersections. Then, take the first right. If you stumble into a room containing the webbed Queen Ant, you’ve gone too far. Look for a root hanging in the correct archway. It may block your buggy, so you might need to dismount. Inside the correct chamber, the body holding the disk will be on the right side.

Toxic Anthill Disk

Start from the South Entrance of the Toxic Anthill in the Snackbar Front area. Once inside, take the first left and continue through the tunnel. When you reach a chamber with a spray can and a donut positioned above it, choose the right-hand path. Enter a large room where the disk will be lying next to a dead body.

Ice Cream Cart Disk

This disk is hard to reach simply due to the Chill encompassing the area. Take Blazing Brew with you and bundle up in clothes that improve your Chill resistance. Activating the Spicy Safety Mutation will help as well. You’ll also want a smashing weapon, as scorpions have made this area their home. Then head northeast to reach the Ice Cream Cart.

Before heading to find this disk, make sure you stock up on Blazing Brew. Additionally, wear thick clothing to get the most Chill resistance you can. This is because the area you are heading to will be very cold. Make your way to the Ice Cream Cart. Afterward, head to your right, where you should see a narrow tunnel entrance. Keep moving and stick to the right wall. When you come across a line of ice cream cones, veer right again and squeeze between two popsicles. Follow the path upward, keeping the cones on your left. Just before reaching the cone that contains Raw Science, look to your left near an ice column, and you’ll find the body with the optical disk there.
