Grounded 2 is a survival crafting base-building game, where you must endure against deadly bugs and insects. As you progress through the main storyline, the difficulty ramps up significantly. The quest begins right after you build the Spike Strips, so prepare yourself to face a large wave. Since the quest can be challenging, going in unprepared can easily result in failure or death. Whether you are about to or have already failed the quest, this guide explains how to complete the A Strange Warning quest in Grounded 2.

How To Defeat the O.R.C. Wave
In the A Strange Warning quest, the mysterious stranger attacks your base by sending a powerful O.R.C. Wave filled with strong bugs, like O.R.C. Red Soldier Ant and O.R.C. Weaver Jr. Using your buggy effectively is the key, whether to increase your mobility or support in combat. Make sure to revive your buggy when it falls during the battle.
Upgrading your weapons and building better defenses around your base can make the challenge a lot easier. Following a hit-and-run tactic can be highly effective, as it prevents you from being overwhelmed by multiple bugs at once.
The mysterious stranger contacts you after you have successfully eliminated the wave. After fending off the wave, you will then need to report to Sloane Beaumont about the stranger’s O.R.C. network. Enter the outpost and interact with the monitor to pick up the incoming transmission and deliver the report. This concludes the A Strange Warning quest and starts the Signals and Stashes quest.
What To Do if You Fail the Quest
Getting too far from the O.R.C. Wave or dying during the battle results in failure of the A Strange Warning quest. It is best to have a backup save file before starting the quest. This allows you to reload the previous save file if things go south. Alternatively, you can also wait for the next raid to encounter the O.R.C. Wave. The stranger sends the O.R.C. Wave again after 2 in-game days, providing an opportunity to complete the quest.
