You can obtain Mint Shards by breaking Fresh Mint candies. To break these candies, you need a Tier 2 Omni-Hammer. Approach a Fresh Mint, bust it down, and you will receive around four Mint Shards. The following are some of the best spots to farm Mint Shards:

  • You can find two Fresh Mints in the northern section of the Ice Cream Cart, beneath a large tree root.
  • In the eastern section of the Ceremony, you will find a concrete block near the Outpost. Use the red clothing to climb to the top, and you will find two Fresh Mints by the mint box.
  • You will also find Fresh Mints underground inside caves and tunnels. Notable ones include the Hatchery Anthill at the eastern Snackbar Front and the cave at its far southwest corner.

How To Use Mint Shards in Grounded 2

Mint Shards are some of the most useful resources you can find across the park. They are used to craft weapons like Glacial Sting and Mint Arrow, as well as the Butterfly Circlet armor. You can also build storage structures like Fresh Storage and Egg Storage using Mint Shards. Beyond these, Mint Shards are used to craft the Mintito Smothie, which provides resistance against Sizzle damage.

Apart from being a crafting material, Mint Shards can also be consumed directly. They satiate hunger and reduce Sizzle damage buildup.
