In this guide, we’ll explore how you can get your hands on some Quartzite and Marble in Grounded 2, and where you can get them.

In Grounded 2, you have to be constantly on the hunt for materials and resources, which will help you craft better gear and survive upcoming challenges. Quartzite and Marble are two of the naturally occurring materials that you can mine in the game. They prove to be invaluable in your quest to make better weapons and armor. So, you’d do well to acquire as much of these two resources as you can.
In this guide, we’ll take a look at how you can get Quartzite and Marble in Grounded 2.
How To Locate Quartzite and Marble in Grounded 2

The following are some of the ways in which you can get Quartzite and Marble in the game.
Acquiring Quartzite Shards
You can find Brittle Quartzite Shards quite close to the starting area of the game. Just to the side of the first Ranger Outpost is a location dubbed Hatchery Anthill. You will find a ton of Brittle Quartzite Shards inside this spot. It’s a location that you’ll have to visit as part of the main quest. However, we advise caution, as there are some tough enemies inside the Hatchery Anthill. You’d do well to carry some healing items, make proper armor, and craft weapon upgrades before venturing inside.
Once you’re in, it can be tricky to distinguish between the normal rocks and the Brittle Quartzite Shards. We suggest moving closer to all of the rocks here and interacting with them to find out which ones are the Quartzite variants and which aren’t.

Acquiring Marble Shards
You can usually discover Marble Shards inside the same Anthills where you get Quartzite Shards. In fact, the Marble Shards are easier to identify as they have a distinct gray spot on their shells, and the deposits tend to be flatter than the surrounding rocks. However, harvesting the Marble Shards will require you to unlock the first level of the Omni-Hammer.
Apart from the Hatchery Anthill location, you can also venture inside the Snackbar Anthill for some more of this particular material. Like before, make sure you are properly armed with healing items, armor, and weapons before diving into one of these spots.
