Survival in the world of Grounded 2 is not an easy task. Players must deal with various threats while exploring the diverse locations in Grounded 2. One of the biggest threats players encounter is the Wolf Spiders. Defeating them is challenging, but it is worth the risk, as they drop one of the most sought-after resources in the game, Spider Venom.
It is an extremely toxic venom that is secreted from a Spider’s gland. The toxin can be used to create the Spider Fang Dagger, an advanced dagger, and the Venom Arrow for inflicting status effects. If you are looking for these items in Grounded 2, here is how you can acquire Spider Venom.

How To Acquire Spider Venom in Grounded 2

As mentioned, the Spider Venom is obtained by slaying Wolf Spiders. However, spotting a Wolf Spider is not as easy as it sounds, unless you know its whereabouts. You can find them in specific spots around certain locations like the Entrance, Picnic Table, Ceremony, and Pine Hill. The Wolf Spider usually spawns in the following locations.
- Near the lower left corner of the Entrance region.
- The southeast corner of the Picnic Table.
- You can find a Wolf Spider at two different spots around the Ceremony region. The first is around the table at the north, and the second is the empty terrarium at the south.
- Northern region of the Pine Hill.
Once you spot a Wolf Spider, use your preferred combat method, melee or ranged, to defeat it. After defeating the spider, harvest its remains to acquire Spider Venom. Additionally, you will receive Wolf Spider Chunks.
How To Use Spider Venom in Grounded 2
The Venom Arrow and Spider Fang Dagger are some of the notable items you can craft using Spider Venom, enhancing your ranged and melee builds. Additionally, you can also create Poison Mushroom Sandwich, Waspidote, and Wasperole with Spider Venom.
