As mentioned before, the Ice Sickles are located deep inside the Ice Cream Cart zone, so you need a lot of preparation to survive in this region. Here’s what you should prepare before embarking on the journey:

  • Fuzzy Hat armor piece, along with good defensive armor pieces of your choice.
  • Upgraded Roach Club. Scorpions have a weakness to Smashing damage.
  • A couple of Mutations:
    • Mithritadism: Grants poison resistance.
    • Smasher: Clubs deal more damage.
    • Spicy Safety: Grants chill reduction, which decreases the rate at which the chill meter rises in snow.
  • Blazin’ Brew Smoothies: Grants chill reduction and warms you up. Best used during the final fight.
  • Omni-Wrench upgrade.

Now that you are ready to counter the cold, you can set out for the Ice Cream Cart to start the expedition. It is recommended to build a Lean-to and set your respawn point near the location.

Location of the Ice Sickles in Grounded 2

Once you reach the zone, head to the southern area to find a small opening at the bottom of the snow. From there, follow the route below. Note that you will encounter a lot of Scorpions on the way, so be prepared to fight or just run through them. Here’s the route:

  • Head inside and make the first right turn.
  • Go left and climb up on top of the ice cream packs or the yellow popsicle.
  • Walk over the pipe and cross to the top-right side.
  • Enter the section with a giant broken fan; you can either go up to warm up in the sun or continue the journey by heading to the opening at the bottom of the blades.
    • Note that you have to break the icicles that are stuck to the fan to open the underground tunnel.
  • Head through the dark tunnel and keep going forward until you exit into a large area. You can find the Ice Sickles lodged into the ground in the middle of the room.

Now all you have to do is repair the Ice Sickles using the Omni-Wrench and fight waves of Scorpions like a MIX.R trial until the little thermometer bar fills up. Note that you will have to fight multiple Scorpions at once, so it is best to attack and dodge around to keep your health up. Additionally, using a power attack when the Scorpion blocks results in a long stun, so try to deal most of your damage during that time.
